Tlāloc is a water god of the Aztec pantheon, a primary god - of rain, fertility, lightning, and the ruler of a paradisiacal otherworld, Tlālocan. He is associated with caves, springs, and mountains; this film evokes the materiality of water, color, sound, and cinematic space. It moves between corporeal surface and celestial space, across scales and dimensions. Here we experience film as membrane - as eruption of light and sound, like a storm, or force of nature.
