I have always wanted to explore inaccessible and dangerous places. As a child, I dreamed of going to space. I often heard that it was a man's job, that I shouldn't dream. I refused this determinism, became an aerospace engineer, built rockets, applied to be an astronaut, started training, and was rejected.
