In This Room Everywhere is a tiny poetic glimpse into the elusive dark matter - a hypothetical form of matter that is unseen but thought to be present all over our universe. It only interacts with gravity, it doesn't absorb, reflect or emit light. Dark matter is also story of movement – its presence becomes apparent by how it impacts other things. It is also a narrative about structures – how the hot early universe cooled and formed. Dark matter is everywhere. In this room. Everywhere. Every day we go about our lives unaware that invisible traces of the universe pass through our bodies: neutrinos, gravitational waves, cosmic rays, infrared radiation, ultraviolet radiation, microwaves and dark matter. We may know more about what dark matter is not, rather than what it is.
