The Santo Daime doctrine, otherwise known as the 'Ayahuasca Church', have its origins in the city of Rio Branco, in the state of Acre. Its original leader Mestre Irineu received the vision of it in the 20s, but since then the doctrine has evolved into various branches. This documentary is shot nearby the original church and follows the young Gabriela Lima Vieira during a very traditional Daime ritual
