We are seeing snippets of footage I shot with an infrared lens in the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve in 2024. The foliage radiates bright white, highlighting the high reflectivity of chlorophyll, while the skies deepen into rich, dark hues. The infrared lens mounted on my camera lets you see heat waves, normally invisible to the eye, reflected from the leaves and flowers.
