In Brazil, where a trans person is murdered every three days, Marlene searches for her daughter Roberta, a trans woman who went missing. While running out of time, she discovers a hope for the future.

UNLIVEABLE is a story of times of fear around the world, where people face a common and deadly enemy, the Covid19's pandemic. In Brazil, we face two: the pandemic and an authoritarian, deadly, fear spreading government. We live in an atmosphere of constant threat and lack of hope for a better future. Presenting characters such as a black mother and a black trans daughter, UNLIVEABLE is a tale about the wish for a world where life can be truly possible. Unliveable was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. - 24pfest
