A geologist Dareen visits the Al Wathba fossil dunes in Abu Dhabi. These dunes are petrified natural sand formations that take on various sizes and shapes, at times forming a landscape that is confusingly similar to the landscape of Mars. Dareen suddenly hears a familiar voices coming from one of the imposing dunes, feeling a maternal calling from these traces of once living plants and animals.
