Between the microscopic and the macroscopic, the most remote past and the future, this short film investigates the observation practices of four scientists: a neurologist, a paleontologist, an astronomer and a molecular biologist. The film examines the withdrawal of vision in laboratory practices and the relation between scientific experimentation and artistic production. The scientists interviewed participated in the exhibition "Synapsis. Art and Science since Ramón y Cajal at the Nobel Foundation in Sweden" (2021). They are Javier de Felipe, Juan Luis Arsuaga, Casiana Muñoz, and María Blasco.
