About
The Climate Film Festival (CFF) believes that a visionary, just, and sustainable future is within our grasp. The time to reach for it is now. By platforming imaginative, innovative narratives that reframe engagement with climate change as possible, personal, and profound, we can shift the conversation toward a shared vision of collective action. Climate change is not only the purview of scientists, activists, and policymakers; it also requires an all-hands-on-deck approach, as the results of rising temperatures affect all of our lives, all over the world, every day. A constellation of diverse stories, aesthetics, and perspectives is therefore critical in the construction of these hopeful and intersectional endeavors. Climate media at large, and moving pictures in particular, function as essential tools in helping us to imagine and push for these new futures, new habits, and new politics that are crucial to achieving sustainable life on earth.
