My name is Sean Billings and I’ve always been a storyteller. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, I now reside in Brooklyn, New York where life hops to a much different groove. Every day, I enjoy stepping out into the city to find something out that I didn't know before. In my professional pursuits, I’ve observed and reported on the people and places that make life spectacular, through my own eyes. While once I had envisioned myself to become a great writer, I now believe that not all stories need to be told in the same way. Sometimes where pages upon pages filled with beautiful words fall short, the perfect image, the ideal sight and sound, can achieve something that eludes even the greatest wordsmith. I have grown interested in long, medium and short formats and plan to continue to explore the various platforms available to storytellers in the digital age. My varied experiences have taught me to write short and succinctly, to film video simply and to edit cleanly.
