Ilona Szekeres is a filmmaker from Hungary. She studied Film and New Media at New York University Abu Dhabi. Then she completed her masters in Documentary Directing at DocNomads, an international Documentary Filmmaking graduate program across three countries: Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. Afterwards she completed another Masters at the Cuban film school (EICTV): an experimental masters program called "Alternative Cinema."
