Growing up exploring Colorado’s Rocky Mountains sparked Avani’s deep admiration of the natural world. Avani holds a B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Media Production from University of Colorado Boulder, and has been involved with several art-science projects, including Side by Side and Rituals of This Good Earth. She is interested in exploring the intersection of ecological research, storytelling, and media-making to inspire problem-solving and collective action towards a more inclusive and sustainable future. Through her work with PRNSA, Avani is excited to develop engaging multimedia outreach materials which share the stories of Point Reyes’ landscapes and ecosystems through sound.
