Originally from Penang, Malaysia, currently based in NY, USA. Soon-to-be graduate of Sarah Lawrence College’s MFA in Writing, concentrating in Speculative Fiction (2024). Currently working on an epic speculative fiction novel exploring the intersecting issues of interspecies kinship, class and anticolonial struggle, indigeneity, resource exploitation and mass extinction events, set in a world inspired by Southeast asian lore and geography.
