WATER WARS (2009) is a short documentary that examines the devastating impact of water scarcity in southern Ethiopia. As droughts intensify and traditional grazing lands turn to dust, conflict over access to water has escalated between neighboring communities. Livestock and human lives are at risk, and the survival of entire ways of life hangs in the balance. Directed and produced by the Common Language Project, this 6-minute film sheds light on the human cost of environmental change and the urgent need for sustainable water management.
