This feature-length documentary is a historical evocation that follows in the footsteps of Brother Marie-Victorin, founder of the Montreal Botanical Garden (1931). A fascinating visual and sound universe, this film introduces us to the basics of natural sciences, botanical research and great floristic explorations. In the company of this university professor and nonconformist religious, we learn to collect herbs on a long road leading through the islands and lands of this immense green garden of America that is Quebec.
