The Penan of Borneo is a 4-minute short documentary produced by James Whitlow Delano. The film sheds light on the plight of the Penan people, indigenous to Sarawak, Malaysia, who are former nomadic tribes now striving to protect the remaining unprotected rainforests of Borneo. Facing the encroachment of expansive palm oil plantations and logging activities, the Penan are engaged in a struggle to preserve their ancestral lands and the rich biodiversity of their environment.
