It’s the start of a new school year and Lesedi has just started Year 8. Our young netball star is looking forward to her secondary years – trying out for the netball team, hanging out with friends and telling her dad stories about the scary teachers at school. But all those plans are suddenly cut short when Lesedi discovers she has Type 1 Diabetes. With her whole life ahead of her, secondary school doesn’t seem like it will ever be the same again.
