Filmed from a low angle, a staircase is the subject of a long circular tracking shot. The sequence is edited into a loop that accelerates until the structure disappears. By using the form of a staircase, I aim to create tension between static architecture and its function of circulation and vertical movement. The spiral is the means of addressing the relationship between space, time, and movement.
