By combining film footage, Google Street View, and VHS, Quaintance connects antiracist and antiauthoritarian liberation movements in South London and the South Side of Chicago with his own biography, symbolically referencing the regression of the Global South. A reflection on the potential of empowerment and mobilization, personal and community-based, sociopolitical and artistic, that contemplates the fading of these voices.
