In 1957, the Eameses designed the SOLAR MACHINE TO DO NOTHING. True to their belief that toys are not as innocent as they seem, the machine was one of the first uses of solar energy to produce electricity. In the 1990s, Eames Demetrios discovered unedited footage of the marvelous machine and edited it to share a little taste of it for future generations to enjoy.
