Using selective exposure and the natural bright background light reflected off a lake, a minimal/white-out aesthetic is achieved without any digital alteration. Visually and conceptually, this method isolates certain gestures and occurrences and brings them to the forefront. The three Cormorants on a branch share an independence from their environment, while still engaging with it directly.
