A contemporary revaluation of the religious festivities in the Azores, historically practiced exclusively by men. In this film, a group of women go on a pilgrimage around the Pico Island; on the way, one of them disappears, raising questions about their existence as individuals and as a collective of female bodies. They are bodies who walk, literally to break the bell jar of passivity, guided by action, ritual and resistance.
