Delphine Seyrig interprets excerpts from Valerie Solanas’ 1967 radical feminist pamphlet, whilst Carole Roussopoulos listens, talks and types. A TV set between the two displays news from various current political and humanitarian disasters, towards a better appreciation of Solanas’ anger. The slightly cheeky attitude of Seyrig and Roussopoulos underlines the satirical aspects of the text. Filmmaking as concise and clear as it gets.
