The short documentary captures efforts to preserve the nearly extinct northern white rhinoceros. The question of its existence thus fully moves from the environment of the African savannah to the Czech ZOO in Dvůr Králové. For the northern white rhinoceros, hope lies only in the female Fatu, who is the only representative of her species capable of reproduction. However, some nurses do not approve of the fertilization processes she is forced to undergo. The documentary also opens up the moral question of whether the circumstance, when there is the last chance to preserve an endangered species, alleviates the fact that the animal is subjected to such an unnatural and at the same time painful experiment. Opinions differ - do the ends justify the means in this case?
