After his sister, Thea, disappears, Joel returns to the city he fled following his involvement in its uprisings. He discovers that since the introduction of Paradox's 'Peace of Mind' program, which promises eternal peace, disappearances have spiked. With Thea's partner, Benny, and old insurgent connections, Joel infiltrates Paradox to uncover if they're behind the disappearances and to expose a series of horrifying truths.
