In a Parisian hospital, Claire Simon films a ward where destinies intersect: abortion, endometriosis, assisted reproduction, maternity, gender transition, cancer... There, she collects the stories of these individuals, their hopes, their desires, but also their fears. This film follows doctors and patients at a gynecology ward in France.
