Something strange is afoot at Taco Gary’s. At least that’s what conspiracy oddball Danny (San Francisco native Simon Rex, Red Rocket) believes, claiming the fast food chain has far more going on behind the counter than the creation of delicious tacos. Determined to rescue his brother Luke (Dustin Milligan, Schitt’s Creek) from a coming global cataclysm, Danny joins him on what is ostensibly a road trip to Luke’s new job in Ottawa. But as Danny’s stories get wilder and each stop between Taco Gary’s outposts gets more absurd, Luke is forced to consider if Danny is just off his meds or is there something to his older sibling’s outlandish claims? American Pie’s Jason Biggs adds a hilarious comic turn as himself in this wacky blend of screwball comedy, action, and sci-fi that also stars Brenda Song (The Last Showgirl) and Doug Jones (The Shape of Water). —Pam Grady
