Participants are given headphones and a handbook and set off to explore the city, choosing their own path and perceiving the intricate environment through sounds. Raging wildfires in the United States, crumbling cliffs on the east coast of England, rising seas off Norway and eroding dunes in North Africa will be heard from the headphones. The walk, which takes in the sounds of the surroundings and creates its own sound track, prompts participants to observe their environment in both contemporary and geological time, and to focus their attention on how the landscape may be transformed by climate collapse. - Reservation required! -
