When three sisters and their parents trade a safe and predictable life in Norway for the new uncertainties of vibrant 1970s Nairobi, Kenya, this family's life undergoes a complete transformation. This is also the story of someone who, in their formative teenage years and growing up in a loving family, suddenly finds herself grappling with the strong pull of individual needs.
