The shapes and structures that appear in this video installation and 3d printed sculptures are created on a computer using equations that mimic the way that elements of the natural world – including roots, clouds and lichen – take, develop or change their form.
These intricate, hybrid forms represent ‘possible worlds’, entire ecosystems that – given the right atmospheric circumstances – might one day come into being.
