At 34 years old, autistic, David lives alone in his isolation. Yet, he says himself: "I don't have enough people... It takes two Davids like me." So, David takes the camera as a witness. It reflects his declared desire to be with others and, at the same time, shows his anger, his constant attitude of rejection. Le Printemps, il recule (Spring, It Recedes) is a true encounter where David and his companions take the filmmaker inside the reality of their lives, where they momentarily escape autism.
