A documentary film that shows the difficult life of coffee farmers in Latin America. Their work is severely financially undervalued and, in recent years, also made more difficult by climate changes. The future of coffee is uncertain, with many growers at risk of having to quit due to the price and climate crisis. However, there is a way to at least alleviate the situation, such as the Fairtrade system, which sets a minimum purchase price for coffee and adds a surcharge to growers. Over 800,000 coffee growers worldwide are involved in this system. The film therefore not only points to the problems of the coffee industry, but also to the paths leading to a dignified life for growers and nature protection.
