Test footage ("Field Notes") for upcoming film, "Hyperobject." The drifwood tree footage was shot on the beach at Edisto Island, SC and later uploaded frame by frame to a generative art program that re-interpreted the frames. The idea behind the technique is to show the merging of the "more-than-human" biological world with human-created technology to produce something that seems like it emanates from another dimension.
