This young man is 92 years old. Hwjn is not human, but a “Jinn”, an entity invisible to humans despite sharing the same space. In the world of Jinn, he is still considered a young man at 92, living a life vastly different from that of humans. One day, a modern family moves into the house Hwjn shares with his parents. The world of jinn quickly crumbles, replaced by human presence. Hwjn falls in love at first sight with “Sawsan”, the daughter of the new family. Although Sawsan cannot see Hwjn, she gradually begins to sense his presence. They start communicating through an iPad, dating like any young couple. However, their happiness is short-lived. Hwjn's cousin, Xanaam, hatches a sinister plot, forcing Hwjn to marry another Jinn woman, making Sawsan an innocent victim of the power struggles in the Jinn world. Can Hwjn protect her? Their story heralds a modern, new Arabian love story, reminiscent of Aladdin.
Set in the port city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the film offers an exotic and enchanting experience on screen. Based on the best-selling fantasy novel by Ibraheem Abbas, it was also the opening film of the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival.
