Men were the hunters and providers, while women took care of the family hearth and children. For some, gender roles have been set since time immemorial. However, this assumption has been challenged by recent scientific research. At the end of the 19th century, a tomb containing skeletal remains and artifacts was discovered. The conclusion? A burial site of a famous male warrior. However, in 2017, it was proven that the skeleton belonged to a woman. This revelation has led many scientists to question the extent to which the biases and social hierarchies of the 19th and 20th centuries influenced scientific conclusions. This documentary highlights the need to reinterpret our own history and examine when and why the division of gender roles was established.
