In Marl (an industrial city in western Germany) in August 2006, the "Goliath" building was demolished. Based on this event, the film illustrates the shifting values in society, construction blueprints, and the economic activities of the cities of Berlin, Marl, and Eisenhüttenstadt (formerly known as Stalinstadt).
