In a secluded mountain village inhabited entirely by children, Slim, a fatherless boy abandoned by his mother, grapples with isolation and asthma. His rival Marwan, hailing from an impoverished family, is assigned the task of caring for Slim, which he deeply resents. Desperate for companionship, Slim constructs a makeshift father figure, housed in a secluded forest dwelling. When Marwan stumbles upon Slim's secret haven and pilfers the puppet representing his longed-for parent, Slim's fury intensifies, leading him down a path of revenge.
