An instructional film presenting a navigation system for guiding military aircraft in poor lighting conditions. Tricks and action sequences from the world of dark blue uniforms alternate with an instructional film.

Flying without sight using the OSP system is one of the unique documentary films created by František Vláčil. As in his later valuable films, here we find many parts narrated only by the image and his distinctive directorial handwriting. For instruction, it uses a combination of staged sequences and instructional passages, together with trick animation. This is a brisk popular-scientific and educational film that does not shy away from dramatic sequences reminiscent of famous Hollywood action films.
