Despite facing setbacks caused by a typhoon and the painful loss of their son, Ben and his wife remained undeterred. Together, they transformed their modest ironworks into a multinational enterprise, symbolizing the collective contributions of numerous Taiwanese entrepreneurs to Taiwan's economic boom from the 1960s to the 1980s. Immersed in a watercolor art style, Fan pays homage to the modern artists of 20th-century Taiwan.
