An allegorical story about the relationship dynamic of two independent sisters and how it changes with the appearance of a stranger in their remote and carefully guarded house. One sister, Violet, is a disfigured writer that lives in a dark room, hidden from life. The other sister encourages Violet’s fear of life and is content taking care of her.
