Come and join three generations of the Pownall family on a traditional day out at Chester Zoo. An enjoyable day, too, though zoos many years ago were not fun for all, and some of the animal inhabitants seem sad and bored in their concrete pens. The sea lions look happiest, sunning themselves in their rocky pool, and the polar bears too, at play and rolling around in the water.
