The animated series Brazen is a television adaptation of the French webcomic Les Culottés by Pénélope Bagieu. The individual episodes introduce women from history and the present who have changed the world. Agnodice was the first gynecologist in Ancient Greece. An enthusiastic fan of true crime stories, France Glessner Lee is considered the mother of forensic sciences. Georgina Reid devoted years to building terrace fields in order to save the cliff of The Montauk Lighthouse from erosion. Mae Jemison, a holder of several doctorate degrees, fulfilled her lifelong dream and became the first Afro-American woman in space. These four short animated films are medallions of these inspirational women.
