Blue Sun reflects on the 1984 mining accidents in Northern Taipei and their enduring impact. Inspired by the works of Taiwanese novelist Tong Wei-Ger, the performance explores how these events continue to shape memory and identity. Through 16mm film projections, modular synth soundscapes by Nick Tsai, and live drawing by Chin Meng-Hsuan, Blue Sun bridges literature and performance, exploring the lingering energy of the landscapes evoked in Tung’s fiction.
