This animated documentary, currently in R&D stage, will be about the poorly understood condition of chronic pain, the scientists struggling to understand it, and the extraordinary emotional journeys taken by those who experience it. These people overcome huge obstacles every day, fighting to manage their pain and continue with their lives. This is a story of the mysteries of the brain and the resilience of the spirit, told through the visceral animated representation of subjective experience, combined with visualisations of scientific knowledge and research.
