When 36-year-old Amaru (one of the directors of the film) was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, he and his partner (co-director Mila Araoz) embarked on a trip from the UK to Bolivia. Together they created an intervention of love and play that would help him and his family face the far greater journey that lay ahead of him.
