The saying goes that to love someone is to embrace their entire universe. For Su-jin (Son Ye-jin) and Chul-soo (Jung Woo-sung), this couldn’t be more accurate. Their relationship starts with a clumsy first meeting and evolves through a series of serendipitous encounters, them with the thread of destiny. Until recently unaware of each other's existence, they now find themselves entwined by a shared destiny. The obstacles they face are far from trivial. Su-jin, who comes from a wealthy and stable family and has a successful career as a designer, wants to marry. Chul-soo, on the other hand, hesitates because of their differences. Raised without parental support and working on construction sites while dreaming of becoming an architect, his life contrasts sharply with hers. Besides, her ability to care for those around her and always maintain a positive outlook is admirable but seems quite foreign to him, as he has lived an isolated life. Despite their differences, Su-jin's unwavering commitment to love gradually opens Chul-soo's heart. The film captures one of the extraordinary aspects of love—lovers becoming each other's savior. Together, they build a home and create memories, reconciling with their pasts and confronting the present. The story unfortunately takes a dramatic turn when her habitual forgetfulness is diagnosed as Alzheimer's, but even then, their commitment to each other remains unshaken. Attracting over 2.5 million viewers, the film has left a significant mark on the genre of Korean melodrama. Son Ye-jin and Jung Woo-sung lead the narrative with remarkable focus, avoiding the typical clichés when portraying a story of unconditional love.
