Two scientists isolate themselves to refocus on an old project that comes into their possession through mysterious circumstances. As the former classmates go deeper into decoding the recordings of signals from a theoretical primitive alien satellite, their professor's old tapes, writings, and theories begin to make the women's memories, chronology of time, and identities slip into obscurity.
