The film was created by 6th-8th grade students at Sidney Gutierrez Middle School in Roswell, New Mexico, under the direction of animator Karen Aqua and composer Ken Field. The students used hand-drawn animation techniques (cut-outs and flipbooks), and created all the artwork, sound effects, music, and narration.
